I think I saw parts of the original on TV over the years, but I know I haven't seen the whole movie. I don't have Hulu, so I won't get to see the series.

A married couple in the show had kids who got it, and I had never gotten it as a kid myself, so I had to come home for a week and miss school AND rehearsals.
