....I am glad he is not immediately throwing them into the wastebasket like he does the cranberries.

Has he watched Thoroughly Modern Millie too many times?

That's good! We've been enjoying the new episodes of Grantchester, although darker than before.

DR singdaw - I don't think he has ever seen it.  His most popular program is The Price Is Right.

I found a place in town that will change the oil in the Smart Car - so perhaps I shall drive over there on Friday.  They will also check the tire pressure and let me know if I need new tires.....

So that will be good to know.

I sent DR George a DVD of the Chicago 1998 production of THE GOLDEN APPLE, which I think is better than the Encores! production and more complete than the PS Classics recording. Would anyone like a copy?

There are excerpts from the production on YouTube.

I would, too, but I feel guilty prevailing upon DR George.  Yet again.

Back to Mr. Chips. Rattigan has written several good scenes for O'Toole, who really is good.

I usually help teach on Wednesdays, but the room had a leak last week and can't be used anymore. Only a smaller room is available and only on Thursdays. It'll be fun to see 24 squeeze into a tiny room and try to learn to dance.
