It has been strange being in a state where masks are only recommended and as a result the majority of people do not wear masks.

We are at a hotel in the Chicago airport. An hour and a half ago I requested a cup, glass, something to hold water. I just cancelled it cuz I want to go to sleep.

We sat just inside one of my favorite restaurants, Columbia, for some Cuban-influenced food. I had pompano baked in paper with a stuffing of shrimp, crab and artichoke hearts.
