I need a comedy tonight. So, it's Blithe Spirit. Not a perfect movie, but I have had this David Lean directs Noel Coward box set sitting here for a while.

Marshall Harvey and Robert Yacko were the guests for food - the faux stroganoff went over very well and we had lots of fun chatter. I'll relax for a while and then try to perhaps do another three or four pages - I'm actually within spitting distance of finishing chapter one.

The stars of Blithe Spirit, Rex Harrison and Margaret Rutherford, hated the play. Director David Lean didn't get it and at the time, didn't like it. It's all sort of blandly fun. The play is better than the movie.

I just finished watching the first season of "Manifest" on NetFlix. It's more riveting now than when I first saw it. Knowing the crux of the story allows me to appreciate the nuances of the show.

Am so glad that it will get a fourth, and final, season on NetFlix

I was fortunate enough to see the road version with Angela Lansbury when it came to San Francisco a few years back. 2016, I believe. It was fun seeing it live.

I think I'm through writing for the day - twenty-three pages - but as you know, a few of those were already written, but I did so much revising of them that they were probably two-thirds new - so a really good day of writing. I'm already into chapter two.
