When I ordered more masks I was tempted to try the BOTN small size, however, decided to stay with my BLUNA brand for kids as I know they fit well, and a good fitting mask is very important. These are still available on Amazon for small faces.

Went out this afternoon to fill one of the gas cans, to ensure that there's plenty for the sn*wblower (I almost typed something else) on Friday.

Following which, I indulged in the "2 for $6" special at McDonald's -- two quarter pounders with cheese, with extra onions. Hadn't had anything from there in a while, and boy, did it satisfy.

Tip for you onion eaters (I'm sure you know who you are): If you like that burger, ask for extra onions. It's worth it for the additional flavor, AND in case they were about to hand you an already-made one, now they won't. For special orders they make 'em fresh. (I think they're supposedly making quarter pounders etc. fresh anyway, these days, so maybe that's moot.)

I have found a new app for my iPhone. It is called "Whisk". It is a recipes app and it not only offers loads of great recipes, it allows you to add recipes you find online that you want to keep.

I learned about it on my local news. It's considered an "App of the Year", and it's free for iPhone and smartphone users.

These moments don't happen often, but when they do, it's almost as bad as when she first passed.

Futzed and finessed - not as huge as yesterday, thankfully - made a couple of nice and significant additions, smoothed out stuff, and then wrote two new pages. Lunch was Kluckin' Chicken - their good sandwich and fries - excellent. I'm gonna shave now, write another three or four pages or however many I can. Then I'll go to the mail place to pick up some packages, then mosey on over to see a play reading at the Group Rep.
