Today is my second day of radiation treatments. I also need to locate a Covid testing location and take care of that. I can only do it after I finish up the radiation because of an Amazon Fresh delivery and a phone search for a location in my area.

There's a CityMD, 88th Street & Broadway, with walk-in Covid testing, so I called Access-a-Ride to see if I could change the address of my return ride from home to there, and I can't. Damn!

If I weren't waiting on an Amazon Fresh delivery this morning, I would go up now. Damn!

The weather is supposedly going to be messy tomorrow morning. Damn!

That seems so odd, that they can't or won't make that kind of change.

I wonder if it's possible to simply ask the driver on the return trip to let you off there because of a last minute change in plans? How could they refuse? (Oh, I know. They'll find a way.)

BK -- I was going to post a picture, and once again have gotten the message:

It's a phone-camera jpeg about 140 kb in size. This has happened to a few of us over the past several months. I believe each time it's happened to me, it's been a photo I've copied from my iPhotos to Preview and resized to fit. That usually works as it should, but once a particular image has "failed security checks", there's seemingly nothing I can do to change that.

One year ago today, 245 years of our Republic, founded as a Constitutional Democracy, came under attack. The forces that set all that in motion remain steadfastly determined to make it happen again.

On a brighter note, the geese have returned to the pond behind my house.

I haven't seen the geese since early last summer. They have been around, but in a pond separated from mine by a road.

While I am happy to see geese, I am being reminded how NOISY they are.

My yard is the preferred location for their annual mating rituals. It gets VERY noisy at times.
