The webinar thing was -- once they'd gotten through the opening remarks and the reciting of history we already knew -- very good. It ran almost three hours and was well worth the ten dollar investment. When they finally got into the real nuts and bolts of the score, and played a few selections showing their full score as they went along, I was able to screen-capture some pages I will greatly appreciate looking at later and comparing with what has gone before.

While that was going on, I picked up another gig. It fell right into a sweet spot between two others. I'll be playing the piano part in Chicago in late March. That falls right between How to Succeed and Cinderella, after which there will be a bit of a breather before I jump into Carrie for the fall and The Streets of New York at the end of the year.

I am watching the original version of The Ladykillers. I wonder. When I was a kid, I loved this movie. Thought it was brilliantly funny. Now I'm finding it a slog. I haven't smiled once in the first 45 minutes. Maybe because I know what's going to happen.

Someone on Facebook pointed out an album from 2016 featuring Derek Jacobi and Anne Reid. I had never heard Claudius sing. It's interesting. He has a nice voice.
