Well, you've read the notes, the notes were birthed, and now it is time for you to post until the birthing cows come home.

I had a terrible night. Bathroom breaks every 45 minutes, and I could not get to sleep until some time after midnight.

One dream had something to do with Babes in Toyland, but I cannot remember any more of it.

In another, new proofer ChasSmith was reading a large print edition of  Dumas' Camille, and we talked about Flaubert's Madame Bovary.

Hello, all.

I can happily aver that today is Friday in the state of South Carolina.

I cannot aver what day it is where YOU are, but I work on the presumption that it is the same day.

Let them ALL eat cake is what I say.

What do any of YOU say about that?

I was at the store yesterday. I was only picking up half a dozen things I knew I'd want over the weekend. I passed the cake, and didn't even stop to look. And you know what? We have freezing rain out there today.

Let this be a cautionary tale to you all.

My dream had a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and it really only covered one interesting thing. Mostly, it was somewhat irritating, and as I think back upon it I think it was preventing me from getting solid rest. Or maybe I was dreaming that I wasn't getting solid rest. In the end, does it matter?

I'll answer that.  No.

I have never quite been the same since the surgery to pulverize some bladder stones. And the surgeon never once mentioned beforehand what some of the lasting effects might be.

DR TCB - some years back, I was eating vegan exclusively. Now I'm not so particular, but I do still try to eat healthily.

Sadly, yes, although I gather the radiation affects every patient differently. I see the radiologist after treatment each Wednesday so they can learn what it's doing to me.
