At the deli where I gad brunch yesterday, they had a dessert that Jane would have refused: chocolate-hazelnut swirl babka with coffee ice cream on top. Sounded decadent.

I would eat the ice cream.  It sounds delicious, if only they had left out the hazelnut.

I fell asleep around 4:20 and the battery on the smoke alarm woke me at 6:45.

Has anyone here ever had a bout of hyperventilation?

I had one following lunch.  I had to go outside and calm my breathing down.

Don't have a clue what set it off.  It has passed, but it was distressing.

Not to the point where I have had to breathe into a paper bag.  I know people who do this.  Calming it the way you did means you kept it under control so be pleased with yourself.

I hope the part for your CPAP unit arrives soon.  I suspect it might be related to the attack.

I suspect so, too!

The ad is placed.....House for Sale.

We shall see what happens.  I will give it one week just to please my sister, and then I shall insist we list it with some kind of agent or other.

QUICK HOUSE SELLING VIBES!

And more.

Assuming the house does not need major repairs/renovations, it should do well.  It's a seller's market all over the U.S., as I understand it.

Selling it without a broker means more money in JRand's pockets.

Yes DR RON PULLIAM it is move in ready.  Very nice.  Yes I am hoping to sell it with as few $$ as possible spent.

I have to share the proceeds with 23 other heirs......some of whom are very greedy and calling every day for their checks.....  It ain't happening, honey.

Our attorney will tell us when we can give a first payment to the greedy bastards - probably sometime in March.

We are still waiting for the insurance payout, an annuity payout, the insurance refund on the small house that sold, and of course the sale of the BIG house.

Greedy relations are always fun!!  It has a rather "Knives Out"-ish air to it, doesn't it!

I have some old issues of Show Music magazine and The Sondheim Review. Not many, not a set. But if anyone is interested, send me a message. Otherwise, they’ll go to the library.

Will your library even take them?  My library no longer accepts magazine donations unless they are current issues of title they already subscribe to. :-\

Yikes!  Glad you're okay!  Fortunately, I've never experience that.

From George:

It was a completely different kind from the others that I had taken...this one required an app and a battery powered test device.

Was that the On/Go test?

I don't think so.  I'll have to look when I get home.

Pray you don't.  You know that you are breathing but you don't seem to be able to get a breath.  Very odd feeling.

I just hauled the trash and recycling bins down to the road for tomorrow morning's pickup.

It's a real Monday kind of chore, lemme tell you. And I'm glad it's done.

Goodness, how rude.  You have done much in a rather short amount of time.  Do you have a group email set up?  If so you can tell them NOT to call and you will send out weekly updates, unless there is something new to report.

Aint it the truth!!   I tell myself that I function because I manage to do things...but it hardly feels rewarding sometimes.
