DR JEANNE this is my favorite version of the song EVER although Mr. Bobby Darin's version is a very very close second.  This is not a digital version - it seems to from vinyl.....with all its faults.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I have been E & T for no good (or bad) reason.  The weekend weather was pretty distracting, though, and I spent quite a bit of physical and emotional energy looking after Richard as he, bit by bit, cleared most of the ice and snow from our driveway.  He had some help from our neighbors Mark and Rosemary.

That sounds good.  I have been jonesing lately for some Häagen-Dazs Coffee Ice Cream.

I had some of that before the candy.

From Vixmom:

Quote
So using the wonders of the inter webs while driving ( well while Vixdad was driving) I located a local company which would clear our driveway, walkway and front stoop fir the bargain price if $250 payable by credit card

Wow, I am impressed.  Even more so that they did a fantastic job.

The Oscar nominations are a lot of the same old. Andrew Garfield can get nominated byt not Robin de Jesus.

Tom, I know the frustration of not being able to drive.  At least I did have people who could drive me when it was important.

Now, DR vixmom, please forgive me for asking, but who is in Lumberton, and is this in North Carolina?

My college roommate my freshman year was from Lumberton NC.  His name is Forrest Floyd.  I have no idea where he is, or if he is, any more.  Last time I saw him was graduation in June 1970.  But he was a good guy, and Lumberton must have had some responsibility for that.

Mine, too, figuratively...but I could imagine myself not being able to get it back.  Hyperventilation!!

In the last hour she has climbed onto my lap to be held and then sher climbed onto the computer table to be close to me. I think all is now good.

You likely just scared the tar out of her, and she was shook up about it for a while.

Did everyone, or anyone, see Nathan Chen's record-breaking short program at the Olympics last night?  His highest score ever.

The free skate is tomorrow night, IIRC.
