I have seen the Dirk Bogarde TOTC....which I liked although Miss Pross is NOT given her due.....  But we do get the final guillotine sound which we don't get in the Ronald Colman version.

Not particularly interested in any of the teams playing in the NCAA tonight....both Purdue and Notre Dame are playing tomorrow.

The Notre Dame Leprechaun is not a BIG costume, but a guy dressed in a leprechaun suit and he is most enjoyable.  Thursday, on St Patrick's Day, when they played he and the cheerleaders did a very nice Irish jig.....  Fun!

Back from rehearsal - we did as much as we could with HALF the cast out. Ridiculous, and I will never again cast people with these kinds of conflicts EVER. So, we did as much as we could, I did detail work on the show's big monologue, and we ran some problem things over and over. Our choreographer came by and did what she needed to do for one number. She'll be back for our optional Monday rehearsal - although four of the missing cast are NOT optional for Monday, since these four have missed so many rehearsals. The choreographer has two things to do on Monday. Happily, she watched my staging of one of the new numbers and loved it.

Stopped at the fried catfish place and got that, some mac-and-cheese, and a small corn on the cob - all great.

I think at one time I knew Nat King Cole's wife was a singer.

Tootsie was silly fun. Definitely not an F-.

That critic hates everything at Gammage.

Gammage's sound system is notoriously awful. I do wish I could have understood more of the song lyrics.

Too bad that they can't do surtitles or something.

My goodness, DR George. I'm exhausted reading that schedule. I try not to schedule not more than one thing each day. But of course, I hardly ever go out.

Read it? I can't even say it.
You know, I can’t either, but I’ve started her very long novel, To Paradise, and I love it. The first third is a gay rewrite of Henry James’s Washington Square. It’s set in 1893. Part two is 1993. Part three, as I understand it, is in 2093.
