I do not in any way wish to have been in your shoes regarding the estate issues, Jack.  Just doing my mom's estate took a year or so, and there are still things I need to do but aren't pressing issues.

My cousin Debra had to deal with my Aunt Doris' estate issues after her death in November, and is now dealing my Uncle Rock's estate issues.  Doris and Rock had separate accounts and separate annuities.

Debra made sure that all of Doris' annuities were assigned to Rock for however long he survived her.  Then she had to notify everyone of his death and get things ready to be divided between her and her two brothers.

Don't know where it all stands, but she has worked her butt off on this, and she didn't have 24 others to contend with.

DR Jrand I forgot the house sale will be like money held back for extra's.  Vibes it sells this year.  Enjoy your first payout.

Yes, having others to contend with makes it more complicated.  I am glad my brother handled it all when my father passed away.  I also received constant updates from my brother letting me know what he was doing.

I'm glad the work day has ended. I got out to water in the backyard.

I wish I could eat kale. My wild plants are out of control. Enough to feel a family for a few days.

Does kale conflict with a medication you are taking, DR John G.?

The only other drug/food interaction I have heard of is with grapefruit in some circumstances.

I finally did something with many of my Fiesta medals from through the years. Fiesta starts next Friday, I think.

Wow! That's a lot! I agree you shouldn't toss them and that's a clever way to display them.

I am hoping that Mrs Thomas' emails will result in her dumbass husband's resignation from the Supreme Court.

I'm glad to see her activist activities getting press. I don't think many people were aware of them. And people often do bend -- as in retire or get ill -- when under a lot of scrutiny.

We had some snow flurries earlier. Now, the sky has cleared, but it's windy as all heck out there.

TOD:

Season 2 finale of THE BAY. I think this series needs a better title, but it's an engaging show.
