I read it last year when it came out. It was pretty good.

I can just imagine the orchestrations already.

Another musical that defies description:

Perpetual Sunshine & The Ghost Girls is a through-composed musical centered on the exploitation of workers in the face of a national health crisis. The score combines the aesthetics of 1920's and 2020's music to tell the story of the women who changed the face of American labor laws after being poisoned on the job by the United States Radium Corporation.

I watched Belfast earlier. I really enjoyed it.

Not the best movie last year, though.

I loved Ciaran Hinds and Judi Dench together. When he sings to her, it's just wonderful.

And the parallel scene where Jamie Dornan sings to his wife, Caitriona Balfe, was equally wonderful.

Dornan is an interesting actor. He has a musical scene in Barb and Star at the Vista Del Mar that is a riot.

I'm now watching an oddity called The Big Street with Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball. It's based on a Damon Runyon story.

Nicely-Nicely is in the story. He falls in love with Agnes Morehead playing a scrawny professional eater.
