I used to have a recipe for layered pumpkin pie where you cook it on the stove, then put down one layer of the pumpkin mixture in a pre-baked pie shell, then you add a layer of whipped cream, then the top layer of pumpkin. It was the first time that my mom ever liked pumpkin pie...but I can't find the recipe, and the recipes that I've seen online don't seem to be very similar. $:-\$
