Sometimes, someone IS on the other side of the receiver.I say "Hello!" And the reply is "Barbara?"My mother's name was Barbara. I generally ask, "Do I SOUND like Barbara?" That usually flusters the caller and he hangs up.If they ask to speak with Barbara, I am more civil and explain that she has passed away and that I would appreciate them removing my number from their call list.Generally, I am met with polite compliance. Occasionally, the caller will say, "Well, you'll do!"No...I WON'T do...sorry, but a string of expletives generally issue from my mouth before I slam down the receiver.
It looks like the tornado threat is well south of Johnston, so I am breathing a sigh of relief over that. Hail, strong winds and rain are still on the menu today and tomorrow.

My appointment went very well. My A1C has dropped from 6.6 to 6.4, I've lost weight, and my PSA, which was 6.5 before the radiation, has dropped to 0.5.
