She would not like The Lincoln Highway. She loved the book that you recommended, Ginny, about the blue people of Kentucky. There were two similar books out about the same time. If it was The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, there is now a sequel out called The Book Woman's Daughter. These books are by Kim Michele Richardson.Thank you. It was. Ginny recommended it. Both Mom and I enjoyed it.

DR JOHN G my misgivings were premature. The meatloaf looks relief map of Hiroshima - but it doesn't take bad at all. So I will just look away while it eat.
I always thought Somewhere in Time was a ripoff of Jack Finney's wonderful Time and Again. Matheson's novel was punblished in 1991; Finney's fantastic book in 1970. Why has this novel never been made into a film?
One of my very dearest New York friends who retired and moved back to Milwaukee, his hometown, is fading from cancer and in hospice. His sister writes that he has taken a turn for the worst and stopped eating. He could use some vibes for an easy passing.I could use some vibes for a broken heart.

I just opened a package from an Abebooks dealer. The seller listed it as "very good" condition. Well, the dumbass vender did not mention it wasa former libreary copy with library marks, stamps, and labels, Why does this ass think it's in "very good" condition. It's in goddamned USED condition. This is hap[pening far too often on Abebooks and Amazon, and it really is working my last nerve.

Happily, the galley and covers were ready for me in an e-mail. Doug has signed off on the covers and I'm waiting for Grant to eyeball the galley.
Dinner last night was very nice. We all agreed our meals were exceptionally good.
The baby seal has been clubbed. I want the work week to end.
Gooey butter cake sounds delicious.

We CAN'T have another library's identification on OUR items!

DR George have you purchased books with other library marks or only had them donated?
