I understand people being anxious for another book or film, but I don’t think they have the right (or write) when it comes to control someone’s artistic gifts. I think it was 1985 when I wrote Elliott Roosevelt and warned him that if he didn’t publish another mystery, I was going to stop voting for his father.

The film (well telefilm] was COME ON GET HAPPY: THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY STORY. I started watching the film, and frankly I became a bit shell-shocked; and I ended up watching the whole movie. It probably should have been called the Danny Bonaduce story.

Tonight I watched ANYTHING GOES. SUTTON Foster was almost the only good thing in this West End production.

The plot had been changed in certain parts. I don’t know anything about her Broadway production, but in this version, Billy Crocker is not the male lead, Moonface Martin is.e
