I've spent much of today sorting through my closet. I lost 20 lbs some months ago, not intentionally, and had to buy some new clothes. Many, many companies make jeans and many retailers sell them, but finding JEANS THAT FIT is still a very difficult matter. I bought a few pair, but nothing I really love. I bought two pair from Amazon, but they're not quite right, either. They will be sent back. Since like most women over 40 I have several different sizes in my closet today I did the try-on drill, trying to find something that fits properly. I did find one pair of jeans that's just a little big, but wearable -- and they have the fit that no one seems to sell anymore. I now have two boxes of pants that are too big to wear and need to find a place to stash them. I'm glad to have this done, but my poor back is really suffering for it. I was in my early thirties when my doctor told me to avoid bending and stooping, which is what I was doing, because my back can't handle it. He was right, but how do you delegate trying on clothes?
