In today's email I received a programme from the Swiss Opera Studio of the Bern University of the Arts for their "production" of Babes in Toyland, in which the Packard Humanities Institute and I were mentioned for our assistance in obtaining materials. I'm loathe to call it a "production," since the musical sequence is all over hte place, with little to do ewith the original plot, there is no cast list, and I wonder if it were simply a recital of songs from the score. The program is primarily in German and French.

I never did hear from Joshie yesterday, although I did call him, and I sus[ect the pressure from his two projects has passed beyond his neck. Hopefully, I'll hear from him today.

On the bad news front, I am pretty much convinced the recordign project has died. We've had no word from our sponsor, and my last email has gone unanswered. I'm not happy about this, but I think it's time to look for a new foundation for help.
