My good fairies on five just left. Microwave is up and running, and the DVD player works. Jen says my cable box is so old there is no HTMI (?) whatever that is, so I called Spectrum and a new cable box is on the way. I don't my impatience running my life. I need to relax and enjoy the good friends I have.

If that property sale actually goes through, I'm thinking of having a party for my NYC friends who've helped me out during these years of want.

I wonder if it was a good idea to announce Lea Michele as a replacement for Fanny in "Funny Girl". She wanted it badly after "Glee" finished, but her public appearances were something of a disaster, vocally.

Oh,well. I do hope she develops a personal style rather than her patented Barbra imitations.

HDMI is the terminology. It's the input (and there should be two or more) that make it possible to input disc players and sound bars. The old RCA plugs are passe.

Kenward just died in the past week. I believe he was in his 90s. I knew hm 40 years ago. He's such a wonderful lyricist and a terrible playwright.
