DR Jane, apparently Saatva makes traditional inner spring mattresses but operates on a direct-to-consumer distribution model. So it's not a mattress in a box like many others, it's better - but it seemed interesting.

Both the Classic and the air style look interesting.

George, yes, the entire season of Whose Line was taped live over 3 weekends.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, from 4P-10P each day.
The audience members were not allowed to leave.

Wow.  Where did they sleep?

One of the tapings took place around 9/11.
We took in several out-of-towners that were stranded when all airports closed.

That was nice of you.

There are some things that I prefer to try out in person before I buy. Mattresses and shoes being two.

We have found the tester mattress doesn't always feel the same as the new one that is delivered

Went looking for a Southern fried seafood place, but it’s apparently out of business. Ended up at a brewpub with a cold Kölsch off the tap and awaiting something called a spicy brisket pizza.

I agree about shoes, unless they are a style I have previously worn.

They dismissed everyone from jury duty this afternoon.

Do you have to return tomorrow?

No more. Done for two years.

DR Vixmom which style mattress did you purchase? We looked at the 360 adjustable, only you have to purchase the base which we don't need.

We all developed close friendships during the tapings of Whose Line is it Anyway.

So all of the people who lived in the L.A. area took in as many stranded friends as possible.

It was a very strange experience.

Plus, the Sunday before, Sept. 9, we were waiting to enter the studio when we felt an earthquake!

We comforted our friends from Canada who were totally freaked out.
You know how laid back most people are in SoCal. 😊

I don't disagree about the mattress and would like to try it.

As far as the actual tapings, we went home every night, and returned the next afternoon.
Most of each show ended up being cut, as some of the language used was not allowed to be broadcast. 😄

A trivia contest is starting soon. I’m sure it will be largely sports trivia, of which I am woefully ignorant.
