We started My Policeman tonight, but only got about half way through. So spoiler avoided (thanks for the heads up, DR Jrand72!). So far, it's very good and well done.

Monday evening greetings!  We have returned from a weekend trip to Wheaton, Illinois, where the main event was Hannah's baptism yesterday.

Got a picture to share?

DR John G, Rob and Mary Linda don’t want the girls’ pictures on public sites.

Understandable.

Went to Macy's to see what they had - ended up buying a set because they're in pre Black Friday mode and it was fifty percent off. Both sets are 100% cotton. I do hope I have a California King - that's what I think I bought back then - washing the sheets now and then we'll know, I guess. I measured the bed and but I can't be exact, but the CA King seemed like the sizes were right, especially the width.

New sheets washed in cool water and dried at cool temperature. First of all, they actually fit easily, whereas the old sheets were a trial to get on - the fitted one - VERY tight. This is perfect. They look great and comfy and I'm anxious to try them. They're a darker beige than the old sheets, which is better, and the old ones had subtle stripes and these are just beige and plain, which I prefer.

When the Amazon ones arrive, I'll either return or just keep as a back-up.

This magician is absolutely amazing. I'd love to see him in person. And the trick? Brilliant and fooled Penn and Teller.

We've been on page six for most of the evening, which is known as the malaise of page six.

Couldn't find anything to watch. I'll probably force myself to watch this Ron Howard thing tomorrow.
