Kitty cleanup is over, and I'm down for the night.

Kitty cleanup and corn pudding.

Not a yum.

I haven't seen my friend Joseph for about 10 years. He works with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players and will conduct their Christmas holiday performances of HMS Pinafore. Lunch was full of gossip and catching up. Since I last saw him for a real visit  - not in passing at a performance - he has moved, married, and adopted a beautiful, blind pomeranian puppy.

We went to Vanessa's. I had  the very spicy chicken-shrimp dumplings and a huge serving of vegetable noodle soup.

You put the corn in the puddin'
And the puddin' in the bowl.
You put the bowl in your belly
'Cause it's good for the soul.

Today, I have received a rather heavy package of Indiegogo perks!  The heaviness is, of course, due to the conductors score (never published) of Take Me Along.  It's single-sided ::) and hand-written (copied) but otherwise quite readable.  I actually only got the recording after I selected the score for a perk, so I 'll now be able to follow along and compare the recording with what the songs are really like. :)

Included in the Indiegogo package were "The Twelve Ds" by Harvey Schmidt, and a copy of a page of the sheet music to "Children Will Listen" corrected (not photocopied) in Sondheim's own hand!

Also received, but ordered separately, was Liz Callaway's newest recording "To Steve With Love," and the world premiere recording of Knoxville with a score by Ahrens and Flaherty. :)

So do I, but I'm listening to Liz's Sondheim CD first. ;D

Word is that a big drop of votes will be announced in a few minutes. Maybe we'll finally know who won the Arizona elections.

One of the raccoons is bringing babies to my yard every night. I wonder how many fish I have left.

I've seen four at one time. It's hard to tell because they all look alike.

I seem to recall about that many when we watched the babies from our Michigan homes.

You’re so welcome, Jane!

I am planning to move to Sedona.
This election was very important to me.

We almost moved to Sedona.  It is beautiful, except we went to Ashland for the charming town.  I wouldn't mind being in either place.  I look forward to reading more about your move.
