Greetings all.
First and foremost, many thanks for the birthday greetings, this past Saturday.  It was a calm and uneventful day, just as I like them to be.
Happy Birthday to fellow Leo, DR Vixmom.
DR Hisaka, you were the first person I thought of when I heard about the earthquake.  I am glad you (and your apparently treasured TV) are fine.
Welcome back to the heat and humidity of NYC, DR TPunk.
Every Curmudgeon deserves a pet.
That is one UGLY dog.  Whoa.
(and John Bolton with his goatee looked like a young, blonde Tim Curry)
John will be happy to hear about that.  He's a friend, and was supposed to come to dinner last week, but -- apropos of that Riedel item last week about Nichols being livid about absences -- his producer's asked him to stay in town, and delay his vacation.  He is also the NICEST man in show business, bar none.
As I'd rather have the Greek as a friend than not have the Greek at all, I pine away in silence.
So...you'd rather have FIFTY PERCENT of him, than all... of ... anybody else...at all?
And finally, the TOD:
Glenn Miller.  Across the board.
As far as vocalists go, I usually go with the women over the men.  Except Peggy Lee.  I can't stand her. (An almost SINGIN' IN THE RAIN reference.)  Except for "Is That All There Is?"
Whew!  Long post.
More later, film at 11.
