I have watched a few German musicals from the 1930's - well numbers from them - on You Tube.

Some of them are entertaining.

Last week on TCM was COLLEEN with Dick Powell and Ruby Keeler......I had never seen it.....the big finale was really terrific.

Here is a clip although the first couple of minutes with some ensemble dancing and a really nice routine with Ruby and her partner are missing.

I have never had an advent calendar. While it is not all that attractive I am very tempted by the Walkers shortbread calendar. I do enjoy Walkers shortbread.

I never realized how expensive tasty advent calendars are. The Walkers one is less expensive then good chocolate.
