Well, you've read the notes, the notes took a trip down memory lane, and now it is time for you to post until the memory lane cows come home.

Which reminds me of the delightful tale of The Randy Vicar and the Extension Cord.

Yes I graduated from high school in May, 1968, and I loved all of the albums mentioned in the notes.

In your duos last night I think MR BK forgot Wayne & Schuster two of the most unfunny "comedians" that Ed Sullivan ever had on and on and on.....

After the read thru last night I can just say that work is cut out for me.

The leading man is awful - beyond awful - and to make it worse he cannot project so that even with a microphone the audience will not be able to hear him.

It is fatal to the show - I am saying now - but I will do my best to bring him up.

Vibes appreciated even this early in the process.

It means I will be worrying and stressing for the next seven weeks and will lose hours of sleep....but that's okay.

I knew the job was dangerous when I took it.  I just thought maybe someone else would audition for the role.....but that person never showed up.....a conflict arose.  He planned a trip that could have been taken any other time this summer, but it is during one of the performance weekends.

Yesterday when I crossed over the overpass at Interstate 70, I could see that traffic westbound was backed up miles left and right.

That meant that everybody was trying to get off of the interstate at the exit to SR 39 and then go the few miles north to US 40.

So of course when I got on US 40 within a mile or so - we were backed up.....five miles an hour for almost eight miles....finally got through that...but of course the traffic included dozens of tractor trailers from the interstate.

And then it rained....

Frustrating, JRand! It’s so tough when it’s a leading role.

I'd read that!  Good idea to put in a plug, for The Randy Vicar and the Extension Cord.

The notes noted Sweet Charity copying Mason Williams' Sunflower.

The start and chorus of this pop hit song has been kidded in England for similarity to "Rhythm of Life"

Rixton's "Me and My Broken Heart"

Wow, that Rixton song got 516-million views on YouTube.  Wonder where they post their link, besides castrecl and the Times comments, and maybe All that Chat.

I slept well. I had a most peculiar dream that seemed to take place over many locales in my past 78 years.  I remember little about it now but these things: I was imvolved in a production of  Babes in Toyland that adhered closely to the original 1903 libretto, there was a lot of controversy over the content  and its suitability for contemporary chldren, and a good friend invited me to dinner, where it seems, the controversy was going to be addressed. The good friend in the dream looked very familiar, but her name - Cameron Chesterfield -  is nothing I recognize.
