I went with lemon meringue. It was so huge that I brought half of it with me.

I'm going to the dentist.  Fingers crossed I don't need more than a cleaning and x-rays.

Very strong dental vibes for Jane!

Thank you.  All went well.

What kind of pie today? Am thinking lemon meringue, but I am easily swayed.

Sunds good, depending where you are getting the pie.

Pecan. Or peach.

Peach, in season, is one of my favorites.

It's not as hot here. We're having some weird front this week, which brought high winds yesterday and nice temps this morning.

Lovely.

He ate it. Then practically chased me around the house, meowing for more.

I went to a nursery, but they didn't have any plants. Only seeds. So he's going to have to wait a while for any more.

Oh no.

I then had Keith take one sample for him and one for me.  I've saved them all for later.

The Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls has been in operation since 1929 and is known for its pies. So, I have made two pilgrimages.

It's Rock Springs here in Arizona. On the freeway north of Phoenix on the way to Flagstaff. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”
