My new great nephew is named Kirk David..... After James T. Kirk and his grandfather my brother David.

He joins his cousins Duke & Nolan (twins) and their older brother Bruce Wayne....

I have a newish great nephew too. Named Matthew Thomas after his grandpa and… the middle name: maybe me? I’m afraid to ask! This niece and I were thick as thieves when she was young, so it’s possible. But I imagine she’d have explicitly told me if so. I can’t even ask my sister without it getting awkward. Yet my other sisters think it IS me. What a peculiar scenario.

The two solo concerts I remember there were the Heifetz and a Keith Jarrett one. I didn’t understand Jarrett’s music much at all. There’s a bootleg recording of the Heifetz concert, but I don’t have it. I wonder if it’s online.

I don't know Jarrett's music to comment.

We had good seats but I can't find my ticket to see where they were. I hope it isn't lost.
