I am going to the theeder early.  Our ticket person is supposed to be selling A Christmas Carol tickets to the cast.

She's not starting until six - and I expect we'll have a nice long line that will last until well past their seven p.m. rehearsal start time.....she always does that....and of course she cannot be convinced that starting earlier might be helpful.

Did some writing - not much, but forging ahead bit by bit. I'm coming up to a section that should be fun and go pretty quickly. From then on, things get much easier.

I just had a nice long chat with my much older sister -- even much older now, since today is her birthday.

They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”

I was going to do a time-stamp test, too, but we lost the internet here (including TV) here for a while.

So here goes. What time is it now?

I don't recall seeing this before, so if anyone else hasn't seen it.

Here is our Elementary school song:

Up on a hill where the honeybees roam
There is a school not far from home.
Honeyhill's its name.
It think it's grand.
It is the best school that is in our land.

And there was another one. We alternated singing them every other day:

We are very proud of Honeyhill
Our challenging work we do.
The good teachers we salute.
Our complaints are very few.

Our school is very beautiful
But it's not the outside that counts.
It's the quality of the work we do,
And every year it mounts.

We also sang the Pledge of Allegiance to a very catchy tune.

I saw the original Broadway production of Chess. I only remember the large triangular towers that kept rearranging themselves.

A classic Coke bottle; a souvenir from when I was in China in the mid 1970s:

I had to pay the street vendor the bottle deposit for him to let me keep it.
