I guess I will be trying eye plugs.  He could have done it right then and I probably should have, except if I hate them they can't be removed until Monday.  I would hate to ruin our anniversary complaining about the plugs all day ;D

Annabelle just handed this to me and returned to her afternoon nap.

I don't see FOOD and TREATS and MORE FOOD and MORE TREATS on that list...

Sh! As long as she doesn't know, the better for me.

Good morning! Last night's movie class was Heaven Can Wait, which I'd never seen before and much enjoyed. It was nice to have something more upbeat compared to most of the other movies we've been seeing.

Did the discussion include Here Comes Mr. Jordan?

Yes, and how Beatty had wanted to cast Ali in the lead role, but changed the character from a boxer to a football player when he was the lead.

The Farnsworth estate in Heaven Can Wait is Filoli, an authentic California industrialist estate about 20 miles away from us. Apparently the money received from letting them film there was used to restore the estate to the current wonderful park and gardens that is there now.

Asha is hanging on. I don't expect her to recover, though. We didn't get the blood results back. I picked up some moussed foods for her. She wasn't interested.

I'm so sorry. I spend a quarter of my time hoping the cats die before I do, a quarter of my time hoping that, if I die before them, they live comfortably and safely till their time is up, and half my time trying not to think about either option.

I have pretty much accepted that Leonard will be my last cat. At least my last young cat. He is almost 7 now. If he lives another 8 years, I'll be too old for a young one.

They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”

We got Asha when she was 12. My friend's wife refused to take her along when they moved out of state. He really wanted to take her. He'd had her since she was a kitten.

She's been with my daughter for five years. That's more than we expected. She's been in good hands, which makes my friend happy.

LOL, I guess he didn't see himself as a boxer.  I am glad he was the lead vs Ali.  Thanks for that bit of information.

Save a marriage without too much guilt, has to have been hard on your friend.  I'm sure knowing Asha had a good, loving home has been a great comfort.

I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep. Got up at eleven and had to get right to finishing watching the Drat video and noting fixes.
