It IS Friday, however, and I have not taken complete leave of my senses.
Denny (my grass mower) cut my lawn this morning. It truly looks spiffy.
I socialized at the post office and then socialized at the restaurant where I picked up my lunch.
Otherwise, I cannot account for myself with any degree of pride or accomplishment, even in the area of cleaning or doing laundry. I did manage a 15-minute nap that might have gone longer had FedEx not delivered a package.
It is truly a beauteous day in the CSRA. We are expecting weekend storms, however.
Today is "Day One" of a three-day, 27-mile yard sale on highway 23 between Edgefield SC and Batesburg/Leesville SC.
This is an event that keeps me off that particular highway the entire weekend because people don't usually just pull of the road to see what is what but stop in the middle of the road and rubberneck to see what is in each yard. It's maddening and infuriating, so I declare all areas involved "off limits' to me. People on either side of that highway, both in homes, and also in parking lots of businesses or empty fields, set up tents and tables loaded with stuff they want to get rid of. Y'all are welcome to visit for this event, but don't ask me to meet you anywhere.
