Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland 131, and now it is time for you to post until the 131 cows come home.

I went to bed at 8:30 and slept well until 1:15. After that it was dozing, too much awake time, too many aches and way too many sharp pains.

This is my first day in a week that I have nothing scheduled or any necessary tasks, so I plan to chill out. Tomorrow temperatures are supposed to drop to the 70s, and I will then think about getting the laundry ready and taking the trash and recyclables to the basement. Tomorrow afternoon I have my first session in a month with my student Joe, so I will hear about his concert, which I look forward to.

Last day of this heat wave, thank the gods and goddesses. And at least we're "only" supposed to reach 93 today, unlike the near-100s of the previous two days.

As DR Elmore said, tomorrow's high is 70. There shall be rejoicing throughout the land.

Wednesday.

Glad to hear the show went well.

I did not know Mr Barry Pearl was a Broadway replacement! The things you learn at HHW.

Someone in Larry Blank's orchestration group posted this link to a 1987 dance rehearsal for "Shaking the Blues Away" with Ann Miller, pointing out the meticulous attention to tempo, among other things. I'm not all the way through it yet, but I would also point out the amazing positivity from all parties. One might say these folks had their JEF going on.

Edit:  (Never mind, I fixed it!)  :)

And of course, I ran out of Claritin-D two weeks ago and had to wait two weeks to buy it because I'd just bought some Mucinex-D and you have to wait two weeks between D things.

This wasn't just going to go away by itself, so I got some clothes on and drove over to my CVS - open twenty-four hours, and for once they had the twenty-four hour kind I like so I bought that and came right home and just took it. Hope it kicks in soon.

Getting Together. I have the LP that came with a die-cut wheel so you could ‘change the channel’ on the TV on the cover.

I don't remember the show.  The cover sounds cool.

It's good to set a goal, if you know you can achieve it.
