I have no plans today. A couple of nights ago, I started watching on Amazon the first season of The Nanny, which I loved 30 years ago in its iitial run. I find I still love the cast, expecially Daniel Davis and Renee Taylor. The writing is like throwing pasta at the wall to see if it sticks; some it's topicality (Trump jokes, John John Kennedy) is dated and some lines land no better than the Hindenberg, but when the setups and jokes land, it's still very very very funny.

The “ringbearer” was a hawk. It flew down the aisle to the trainer, who handed the rings to the bride and groom. It was a unique ceremony.
