I know next to nothing about Jayne Mansfield except for seeing her in a couple of movies. Maybe I'll seek out the documentary sometime and learn a little something.

I don't know if she said this, but I remember seeing a commercial for a movie, and I think it was one of hers, where she said something like, "Step back, gentlemen.  I take deep breaths."

We leave for LA tonight. The boy Rodz seems to have developed swimmers ear. So we likely will spend our last day at a clinic here.

I made the mistake of eating a protein bar and now my esophagus hurts.  I was warned to eat gentle foods.  I  have a sweet potato in the oven baking hoping it will be very gentle.

We were out camping in the woods. Sometimes we had internet, which surprised me.

I crossed an item off my Bucket List yesterday.

[Laura]

I was hiking alone, and I hiked down into a sinkhole. Imagine rolling out bread dough nice and thick and then using a big cookie cutter to cut straight down and lift the big circle out.

It was so green and lush. The trail wraps around the outside of the sinkhole and goes down like a spiral. The plants and birds in the sinkhole were different than what was up at the surface. I think I spooked up an owl, which flew off.
