The Theeder Repor

Boy, did we luck out with the weather this past week. This coming weekend looks slightly iffy right now, but hopefully that will change for the better.

Last night's ASL-dual-signed performance was wonderful. I briefly spoke with the signers and they seem so appreciative when people who know nothing about it come up and say how thrilling and moving it is to watch them. We have such a healthy theeder community here that it seems to me like there should be more such activity on a regular basis.

Since I somehow have still never had Roscoe's chicken and waffles, or anybody's chicken and waffles for that matter, I'm just going to sit here and pout. That'll teach 'em.

Waiting on a pharmacy delivery after cleaning up more cat vomit. I think this one is Thatch's.

DR Rodzinski, when you went to get the new car, did you experience a tall glass tower "vending machine" like you see in the CarMax television ads?

I wondered if that still existed anywhere! But no, not at this location.

TOD:  Skip has made fried chicken over the years which has been better than any I've had even in restaurants, and lately been making chicken tenders that are also terrific!

I’ve said it before, and not just for Fred’s eyes, I’d say this to anyone over the years. Skip’s chicken is the best I ever had. No joke.

That's great!  I'll tell Skip when he gets home.

That's Carvana. We have one of those car vending machines in town.

I have a headache which is not helped with Advil and coffee. Maybe that means it will rain this week. Possible rain in the forecast Wednesday and Thursday.

TOD:

 - Spice-rubbed chicken is my #1 specialty - I'll probably make it again tomorrow. Basically broiled chicken with one of the spice rubs from Chris Schlesinger's License to Grill.
 - Poulet Scarpiello from Pierre Franey's 60 Minute Gourmet
 - Tandoori chicken
 - Chicken cacciatore
 - Chicken paprikash
 - Zuni's roast chicken with bread salad

The construction of the scaffolding in front of the building is working my last nerve and driving the cats up the wall. The noise is horrible, Thatch has been in hiding, probably under the bed, while Annabelle, who usually spends 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. sleeping, is restless and Stella is either watching the construction or playing wth a catnip toy.

Hoping the pain goes away soon!  (But I assume you want some rain.)

Did you dust it for paw prints? (Riff on a theme from This Is Spinal Tap).
