Unlike DR John, we found The Friend sad and depressing.  We felt terrible for the dog and the life he was leading.
The acting was fine.

Wasn’t that kind of the point? The dog was sad. He’d been abandoned twice and was expecting it again. She was sad. And they had to find each other.

Maybe, still it was hard to watch this sad old dog and I didn't like how she cared for him.

And it was a dog movie where the dog doesn’t die at the end, which was handled in a great way.

Well, I had the feeling that they added a bit to that ending so people would actually watch it-lol

Thank you, DRs Jane, George, and John G, for the health vibes.

“Congestive Heart Failure” might not sound like a big deal to an experienced cardiologist, but it’s pretty scary to hear as a patient.

It was lovely today. High in the 90s. Very unusual for July.

Yes, I started on a diuretic this morning.

What was encouraging yesterday was that my heart rate, blood pressure, and EKG were all normal.

No, and I’ve gotten very careless with my eating.  I actually wouldn’t mind another course of cardiac rehab to get me back on track.

Did you see the opera version of Marnie at the Met? It was one of their simulcasts.

No, I don’t get to many Met simulcasts. But it’s available on demand. It sure has a stellar cast. I thought it might be best to see the movie first.

DR Jane, I’m not about to do anything outside.  It’s in the 80s and 90s here, with humidity to match.  And I’m a little scared of trying anything unsupervised until we know more.  I’m having an echocardiogram and some blood tests next week.

Is there an indoor gym there?  I like to read on the treadmill.

Our community has a wellness center where I can walk the perimeter or use a treadmill and one of my favorite pieces of exercise equipment, the NuStep.

I didn't know that the piece of equipment I discovered at our gym last week is a NuStep.  I really liked it except it messed with my bad shoulder :(

Just being lazy but other than being logy I do feel better today and the voice is definitely stronger. If that continues tomorrow, I won't do the virtual visit. If I'm really hoarse after rehearsal, then I may do it.
