Which reminds me of the apocryphal story that Gower Champion was putting Miss Ginger Rogers in as a replacement in Hello, Dolly.

He was getting frustrated and walked out onto the street and there he met Hermes Pan...

I would say, unscientifically, of songs that went to number one from 1955 onward, Connie’s “My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own” is one that has gotten the least airplay over the years.

Rehearsal was really fun and of course I talked more than I should have so right now I'm a bit hoarse, but I wasn't hoarse when I was talking - so that's good. Now, hopefully after shutting up tonight and all of tomorrow, I'll be fine on Saturday.

I ordered a sausage and peppers sandwich and three slices of pizza from a well-reviewed jernt in Studio City. The sandwich looked like a six-foot size at Subway. It was HUGE. And the slices are so big that three of them would probably make a whole pie elsewhere. Pizza was pretty good, sandwich was tasty, but I only at one and a half slices and less than half the sandwich and I feel like I'm going to explode.
