When I got home, I was pretty beat, so I just went to bed and slept.

Today, the family met at my sister's house for a barbecue.

I had a burger, and some people had steaks that my mom got from QVC (but everyone loved them), and my friend Shelly made shrimp on skewers, and we had baked potatoes and a few other things.

My uncle made a cake (DON'T READ THIS, JANE!) with hazelnuts and chocolate shavings in the batter, and covered in melted chocolate.

Our veggie box had several bags of cherries in it this time. That's a first. I have a lot to do tomorrow morning, so I'm baking some cherry loaves at the moment.

Well the final performance of The Cemetery Club is on the boards headed for intermission.

A very nice crowd - the cast is sad to move along....and it has been a lot of fun. And each of them did meet my expectations.

So I await the news to see if we get SEVEN standing ovations in seven performances....I shall know in 90 minutes are so.

During the curtain speech we ask everyone to silence or turn off their electronics.

A man raised his hand and asked: "I have pacemaker - do I have to turn that off?"

So I said: "No - as long as you don't use it to make a phone call or take a photograph."

The audience thought it was most amusing. I felt like MR BK.
