Tonight I saw The Birds for the first time as the closing picture in the theater's Hitchcock Festival. I can't imagine having seen this as a kid or teenager, I would have had such nightmares. It was plenty scary even now.

Now it's back to one film a week with film class, though we are skipping next week. The Stanford Theatre's next set of films isn't as appealing to me, plus I'll be very busy with Cabrillo Festival after this coming week.

Most of the performers were really good...no one embarrassed themselves at all, but the Mimi, Angel and Benny weren't as good as the rest.

Today the fam made good on my Father’s Day gift which was family tickets to see the BC Lions against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Canadian football league teams.
