That was after we first attempted to go to Voodoo Doughnuts on a Sunday morning.  We waited in the long line for about half an hour.  Those who wanted coffee went and got it.  Once they returned we decided the wait would be about another hour and we left.

Wow.  Fortunately, we were able to just go right in.

Our next couple of times we went during the weekday when it wasn't crowded.

Bruce, congratulations on a great show and audience.  I'm sorry you lost money due to the low numbers.

It was very nice that someone remembered me on All that Chat yesterday.  (The problem that started with Ann Miner there never made any sense to me.  But nice that Ann Miner left those two posts up.)

I love Sunday matinees for our shows. I may ask if we can do that for the anniversary show - it's so much easier for people. Part of the issue on weekday evenings is the show doesn't start until eight-thirty so you're not out of there until ten.

I think we've finally figured out this new PayPal way - Doug made it sound really complex, but the fact is it's designed for idiots - I went to the new thing they do and I called Doug and said, "I could do this, it's so simple." So, we're about to do a test and if it works we'll probably go live later this evening or in the morning.

I really wish I didn't have this eye doctor appointment tomorrow, but I've already cancelled once and don't think I should again.

That is way too late for me, if I still went to shows.

Kino Lorber's big sale ends tomorrow at noon. Great bargains - 100s of Blus at 9.99

Thank you for the reminder. I found a set of Truffaut films that I didn’t have, including two that meant a lot to me as a teenager: The Wild Child and The Green Room. Actually, I loved all four as a teen: The other two are Small Change and The Man Who Loved Women.

I’m back watching Marcello Mio. Can’t recommend this one. Catherine Deneuve is really good, as always.

This DoorDash driver is nowhere near here - he's now had my food in his car for forty minutes. I will be contacting support unless by some miracle it's still warm - reheating soup in the microwave ruins the soup, same with the kid-size pizza that's coming - no way to reheat and have it taste good.

What?? :o

I mean this yokel is still twenty minutes - that's an hour my food has been in his car and that's IF I'm next.

How rude! >:(

And Hulk Hogan has died.  He was 71 years old.

I'd heard that.

My brother's son just texted me - my brother passed away quietly last night at nine-thirty. He knew it was coming and emailed me a couple of weeks ago. He was against doing any kind of radiation or treatment. While we were certainly at odds for all of my childhood, in later years, starting in the 70s, we became closer and friendly - didn't see him that much because he wasn't in California anymore. But we lunched earlier this year and that was fun.

I'm so sorry, BK.  My condolences. :'(
