I let go of tons of stuff, kept much of it as well.  We have silver that were wedding gifts.  I polished everything I wanted to keep and now my shoulder is done with heavy stuff for the day.

DR John, I love the movie The Courtship of Eddie's Father.  I also liked the tv show very much though not as much as the film.

Aww, I'm sorry about Tom Lehrer. His albums are in my favorites on Spotify.

We saw Tomfoolery many many years ago at one of the small community theaters.

That cast looked so mad when they were singing on the Tony Awards Show....and sorry Ado Annie in a wheelchair just doesn't work for me.

My gut feeling was that those boys were taking advantage of the poor girl in the wheelchair.

The Ado Annie on tour was "Sis." She was big and mean. I just didn't have the feeling the boys would cozy up to her at all.

Oh, no! Did Tom Lehrer die? We were pretty good friends in the 1980s, and I don't recall seeing him after the mid-1990s.

MOST fortunately, it happened at the front of the condo complex, so I only had go without water for a couple of hours.  It's back on now.

DR GEORGE I didn't know you could pay $30 for another year of Windows 10.

Where can I read about that?

It was at the front of the condo complex, so it's nowhere near my specific building.  There is an owner who is most directly affected (that's his window in the picture).  I'm too far away, so I just had to wait for it to get fixed.

Oh my, George!

It's all better now...for me, at least.  I have no idea what kind of water damage that that owner will have to deal with.  At least, no one here has basements.

Yes! He was one of the major "soundtracks" to my college years, then it seemed like we never heard of him for a long time. And then whenever we would, it was always such a wondrous and reassuring thing.

Since Moulin Rouge was mentioned so glowingly :) this was my parody of the eleven o'clock number from Moulin Rouge -

"Rolling in the Deep" parody - my attempt at singing it in the style of Adele's ex Slinky Sunbeam, who supposedly caused all the overwrought angst the song was about
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bN_oexA7W-g

P.S.  I wonder, though - if you date someone whose parents named him Slinky Sunbeam, I'm not sure what kind of reliability and steadiness you're expecting.

That was funny, Freddie!
