It usually takes us an hour to get out of the parking lot after a show. We were out in about 10 minutes after Oklahoma! The big rush was at intermission.

That makes sense. The theedur it was in on Broadway, the Circle in the Square, is one if the smallest on Broadway.

Kinda like when I saw the Hoop De Doo Revue at Disney World’s Frontierland. Mid-show, the cast marched on stage (to the music) with metal buckets of fried chicken and started marching out into the audience, serving all the tables.

Happy Sunday....On this week's Broadway Radio Show, a look back at the history of musicals at Broadway's Plymouth Theatre, now known as the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Since it opened way back in 1917, it's hosted the premieres of works by some of the greatest playwrights, but as the decades passed, more and more musicals debuted at the Plymouth, including several Tony Award winners!

We missed that.

There had been what sounds like a similar type of add-on marketing adventure, I mean experience, set-up for the Polynesian Luau at the Polynesian Village Resort, which we went to when we stayed at that resort.

Google says they closed down the luau in 2020, though.
