I just come here for the novelty coffee mugs and their trenchant commentary on the little ironies of everyday life.

I just saw that my song list and the list provided do not sync up. The list says there are 20 tracks. The CD has 14.

I am in full competition mode for the next three days, so I won’t be able to look for Grover’s Corners until next week.

BK, I will send what I have. Look for a We Transfer file.

Kitty Cleanup was particularly gross this morning. One of the cats threw up on the floor at the bathroom door threshold. Then I got into the bathroom to find another (or same) cat had thrown up in the bathtub.

WTF, indeed. What is usually the reason for these outages? A friend who lives down in the Village has this happen a lot, too.

If the hardcovers and paperbacks of books about cats came with a spot of vomit or a piece of hairball stuck to the cover, it would make them a little more authentic.

Maybe a joke about the tales of the cats being adapted into a "Pukebox musical?"

Thank you, I'm here all week -  make sure to refresh your server on your way out. And watch your step.

This is what can happen after a great work has entered the Public Domain - The other very high profile Great Gatsby musical just announced London development.

The shouting capital letters are from the press release, apparently.

I was just about to post this in several posts to get us to page seven to finish why I didn't have time to read:

After the yardwork, we played a couple of games of Phase 10 (of course), and my niece and I left.  Then she realized that her cat Henry went missing :o so I came back and spent some time driving around the neighborhood looking for him, then my mom spent some time driving around the neighborhood looking for him, then my sister and her daughter came back over spent some time walking around the neighborhood and he FINALLY showed up!  He RAN into the house like he was being chased, but nothing was following him, so he got scared at some point...but he's home.

I'm relieved Henry is home.

My first thought when seeing the guy splayed out on the road was to wonder if he was even alive.  I'm glad that his is.  Hopefully, he's able to recover and that it was an accident and not some suicide attempt.

Oh my, a sad story you would have preffered not to see.  I hope he will be ok.

Wondering aloud whether anyone representing the Jones and Schmidt estates "cares" about GROVER'S CORNERS these days.

By the time we got to the coast all was calm.  Craig is a big Goonies fan and it was fun taking him to Astoria.  We also went to the little Oregon Film Museum which is in the old jail.

Just the Way You Are was my parents’ song, and I have a ton of memories of it coming out of the AM radio in Chicagoland.

That and For the Longest Time are beautifully crafted songs. Other Joel stuff rubbed me the wrong way at times.
