Amazon can be pretty efficient.  They said RICHARD AND ME would be coming on Wednesday, but it arrived today!

John, those are things that grow well here. I have a variety of the second one and the third one in my yard. The first one grows here everywhere.

Happy to say that Singdaw's review is finally up at Amazon. They STILL haven't fixed the issue and tomorrow if it's not fixed by the time I get up, then we have my gal get TOUGH.

Here's Singdaw's review:

5.0 out of 5 stars Anatomy of a Friendship

In this deeply personal and touching memoir, Bruce Kimmel tells the story of his friendship with the composer Richard M Sherman. Richard and his brother Robert were the powerhouse duo behind the soundtracks of our childhoods, and the go-to team for Walt Disney.

From its improbable beginning, this friendship bloomed into something unique, creative, and beautiful, and all the details are here. A wonderful glimpse into the personality of a warm, generous, creative man who left us all a legacy of cherished memories.

A behind-the-scenes with a lot of heart. Highly recommended.

I also read The Sword of Shannara early in high school.

I still haven't read this.

I think it's very good.  It's the first of the Shannara series.  I'd read that there are 33 in the series!  I've only read the first three. ::)

Cherry, always.

But Twizzlers?  There are so many better brands out there.

At least, they're better than Red Vines...in my humble opinion. ;)

The filling of a peaches and cream pie is in the fridge.

Yum!  Costco right now has a peaches and cream bar cake.  It looks totally delish!

I'd read that during the original run of Nine she cut out the flesh-colored body suit that she'd been wearing under the see-through lace body suit. :o

I did a Google search:

There are 33 books in Terry Brooks' Shannara series. These books are organized into various subseries, including the original trilogy, Heritage of Shannara, Genesis of Shannara, High Druid of Shannara, Dark Legacy of Shannara, Voyage of Jerle Shannara, and Legends of Shannara.

I was just about to correct my post.  Goodreads calls them The Original Shannara Trilogy.

At first, I read "in the oven," and I thought...   but no crust?       :)
