We had a pretty good storm last night. Today is gray and threatening.

DR elmore3003, have you had any word on when the audiobook version will be available, and will it be available on Amazon?

I thought it would be out on Amazon by now. I have no idea what the holdup is.

From DR Freddie:

Quote
We're almost through season 1 of THE GILDED AGE.  Just one episode left.

So far, we see that most people were rotten then, both the rich and the not-rich, just like today.  But they sure dressed nicely while being rotten back then.

I hadn't known that this was from the same creator and writer as DOWNTON ABBEY.

Fellows is why we considered watching it but then we changed our minds and watched something else.

I’m home in my very own bed. The cremation convention flamed out about noon. I purposely had a late flight in hopes of visiting my cousin in Phoenix and my Uncle Bill who just turned 90. I’d missed his big birthday party at the family picnic in Indiana, but caught him in Phoenix where he lives with my cousin and her husband. Plus my Aunt. A good visit, many memories shared.

I'm sure this smaller group visit with him was nicer.

Amazon's algorithm is suggesting I add

"Politics & Social Sciences › Popular Culture"

as a category for my book (which basically is: sing-along parody lyrics about major events of first quarter of the 21st century).   No way of telling if that recommendation was done by a person at Amazon looking at the book or the computer system looking at buzz words, but it seems nice that the Amazon system is looking for ways to position the book.

I don't really look at Amazon for books very much, however, when I look at all the categories under books on Goodreads I am amazed.  The book I am currently reading as 10 categories listed.  While different categories, the last book I read also numbered 10.

Yes, I was the designated grass mower. And driveway shoveler. And cat box cleaner-upper.

Living in apartments all the years, I guess we got off easier chore-wise.

Our before-school workouts in the pool meant I was able to skip gym class all through high school. Worth it in itself.

I loved gym class.

Chas, I remember seeing trailers for Miracle Mile. Anthony Edwards, right? It sounded like a cool plot, and I always wanted to see it.

Well, Thursday was the birthday if my friend Shelly, and yesterday, we went to a local garden shop and I bought her a Boston fern for her birthday...it's what she has wanted for a long time AND they were half priced!

Shelly doesn't really have anymore family, so she's become friends with my sister and niece and my mom, so we're going to have a barbecue to celebrate.

Jane asked, "Has your psoriasis gotten worse?"

No, fortunately.  I think I just might have the option to go on Humera and have them pay for it.  I'll find out more when I find out more. ;)
