Of course, that means there is a 79% chance of no rain.

The last rain was July 3, I think.

We are all pretty excited around here. There's a 21% chance of rain later this week. Fingers crossed.

Vibes for rain!

At the end of this Ingrid Bergman movie yesterday, the word SLUT appeared in big letters. It was for a second or two, an eternity in film time, before the subtitle The End appeared.

I'm confused about why my review of Annabelle & Thatch is not showing up as a "Verified Purchase."  I hope things like that don't matter for what's done with the customer reviews on the Amazon algorithm.

Algorithm - There's a word I think I'd used maybe 20 times (if that) before two weeks ago -  I think I've used it quite a few more times than that very recently.

Rain cooled things down here for a bit - but now the sun is out again.

I picked up my prescription and used about 2/3rds of my Humana OTC allowance. They didn't have ANY brain/memory supplements, so perhaps I will check tomorrow at WalMart.

A rather unique live 1973 performance by Don McLean of "On the Amazon"

Is that a security interruption around 1:30 into that video?

Its been  a LONG hot while since I drifted here. MOther nature, life changes, family issues,  health, and new explorations got in the way.

I am looking forward to Larry's book. I have managed to get a few poems and short stories published in the last few years. Its a surreal experience. Oddly enough, music is one of my inspirations. Sometimes, a germ of an idea while strike when you least expect it. I was pleasantly surprised when they were selected for publication.

I have also explored photography. I have always liked it and it was during the pandemic that really plunged me back in. I have had a couple of photos selected for photo galleries. I have also explore stereo photography. (Think back to the victorian age and the mode of entertainment. One picture is in 2d and the second one is 3d. It is a side by side parallell image and it can be freeviewed.

I need to find a different pic as it would not post.. Darn!

Our plan was to fly to Chicago, rent a car, and drive to Milwaukee.

After Keith cancelled our car rental in Chicago they finally announced we would be sitting here for an hour before flying back to Chicago.

On the upside, I barely got sick with all the circling and ups and downs.

That was the smart plan. Most of the time when I've been booked on a flight from Chicago to Milwaukee or vice versa, I ended up on a bus provided by the airline. Sure hope they let you off in Milwaukee, especially if you don't have any checked luggage.

I'm hoping that it will rain in Canada and dampen down the fires. It has been a smokey summer here this year. The last several years have been rough for smoke.
