I'm thinking my new book is at least partially launched, because the New York Times reader comment moderators decided to put up my comment linking the new book on Amazon. I wasn't sure whether they'd include it as a reader comment, and there was a bit of a delay between my submitting the comment and their putting it up - but it turned out their comment moderators decided it was OK.
Here's the comment: (as of now, second comment down under this

From the Metropolitan Diary story: " I gave him a gift, a Mad magazine that he tucked under his other arm."
Berlin v. E.C. Publications, Inc. was the 1963 case where Irving Berlin sued the publisher of Mad magazine over song parody lyrics in their publications. Mad Magazine won. The "Sing Along With Mad" concept became an inspiration for parodists like me.
As it happens (I had no idea Mad magazine would be mentioned in the Diary), I just last week published my new book on "21st Century Oldies, The First Quarter Century: What a One-Percent World!" - my 6th book in my 21st Century Oldies series.

No strings attached - I promise, I won't put you on any mailing lists, I won't try to make Kickstarter requests - just hope you'll find a few lyrics that make you sing along, maybe out loud or maybe even just in your head.
