My MasterCard got sold to another bank - so I had to activate it today and make it my preferred payment today......time consuming....and then set up the card account to be paid by checking account....more time.

Just about done.

Same here, DR JRand.  The new card doesn’t expire until just before my 80th birthday  >:(

One of the reviews of my new book on Amazon said in his review that he had loved "21st Century Oldies" volumes 1 and 2, but he gives the new book four stars.  I looked back, and he had given volumes 1 and 2 five stars.  (He also mentioned "The Little Things You Do Together" from Company among songs he had to google to find. Maybe I need to emphasize more that the songs are mostly show tunes.)

I could "rationalize" that a 4.8-star average maybe possibly looks more realistic - but 5 stars as an average sure felt good for a while. :).  I guess if I can stay at a 4.8 or so average, that'll be OK.

This is very nice in this review, though; it feels good to think of the books in this way:
"There are 69 songs this time – with the lyrics printed in easy-to-read typeface ...
The book is priced low as it is – honestly – time sensitive. Landau sure knows how to write clever lyrics and, if you have previous volumes, you’ll want this one too. This is the kind of book you leave in in your living room or den (after you’ve enjoyed it yourself of course), for when friend drop over and you want to keep them busy while you are out of the room. You’ll probably come back to hear them humming, and smiling, to themselves."

This is a very nice review, and from a person who rarely gives anything stars, I think four stars is excellent.

Very nice weather....67 degrees right now with a high of 71 degrees later this afternoon.

Tomorrow is my regular doctor's appt. We shall see what we shall see.

When I was on the phone with the office manager making the appointment she asked about insurance.  I have insurance but I didn't think their office covered it.  While telling her the story of having left a message with the office that carried my insurance, and that they never called me back, I looked at my notes to see who I had called.  I then exclaimed "It was you I called".

I don't think she will forget me now, and she really was very nice.  Plus her speaking voice is good.  I had called another office and actually had to say "You do know I am deaf"  ::)

Is she the phone person for both places?

Thanks, Jane.

That's an upbeat way of looking at it.

No, only the one which might cover something from my insurance.  I have no idea if she was the office manager at the time my call wasn't returned.  The person who doesn't speak well, but is very nice, is at a different office.

Pill one taken. I'm concerned about speech issues - I'm wondering if the Prednisone in conjunction with the other one I've been taking, which seemed to improve the speech issues, is causing a problem. I'll consult with the doctor because I don't have time for this to go back being bad.

I think I've been taken in by a social media hoax. I can't find any credible evidence that this movie exists.
