In the last two days, I have listened to Buena Vista Social Club and Real Women Have Curves. Buena Vista is an exciting jukebox musical, if you like salsa. Real Women is surprisingly traditional Broadway with a salsa flavor. I think I would enjoy it on stage. And I expect it to be staged many times in San Antonio.

The reviewer who gave the new book four stars, but mentioned in this review that he had given volumes 1 and 2 five stars, was - when Amazon had that category - a "Top Reviewer." The "Top Reviewers" to keep that status have to be concerned about being seen as helpful to the general readership - his five stars indeed must have been very helpful in my volume 1 and volume 2 having exceeded my expectations in sales, if I'm understanding it right.

(As I'm sure you know, John G, but others may not, they used to have Top 100 and Top 1,000 reviewers, etc, based n how helpful people found their reviews - but they discontinued that.).

I've got to listen to the lyrics of Real Women Have Curves with more attention. IIRC, I think I let the score just wash over me while doing other things.
