Now we have the results before the doctor even sees them, within hours.

Yup.  I like it so I can process the information and be prepared with questions.

We got our lab draws this morning and are awaiting our results. Remember when you got it done two weeks before your appointment so the doctor would have them when you got there?

Yes, and that doesn't happen for me now, either.

I usually do the labs first, certainly before I see my endocrinologist.  I've gotten lazy with my primary and just wait to see what he decides to order.

We had rain overnight. Just a little bit. But I heard it.

Last night I watched Truffaut's Day for Night for the first time, well, I actually think since the 1970s. I appreciated it more than I ever remembered from back then. I'd actually started a li'l Truffaut retrospective several months ago when I went through the Antoine Doinel films, but I fell off the wagon. I shall do better, starting now. I watched a few of the supplements on the Criterion Blu-ray, but it was getting really late. So I'll finish those up later today, then decide what the next film will be. If I take it out and put it on the to-watch stack, it won't get forgotten.

I have a few CDs in the to-listen-to stack, but what are they? I forget, but one is the Charlie Brown release that BK was just posting about finding.

I still have my copy of the Charlie Brown, too.  And I think I even know where it is...I hope.

That west coast gasoline pricing is outta sight, man. Of course we think ours is, too, based on the past. But yikes! How do y'all live with that?

Yesterday I saw that our local BJ's price had suddenly jumped a nickel from the previous day. Usually it goes up and down in one- or two-cent increments. But: a nickel. That means something's afoot and more could be coming. It also puts us in near-$3.00 territory again, at $2.94 (or fifteen cents less if you're vixmom).

Washington state has some of the highest gas prices in the country.  There are a lot of sales taxes attached to gas sales.

I don't think any of the shops could be considered "old style."  They were all fairly modern...but then we didn't go into every shop.

I actually got some S'mores taffy, but that's the only kind.  I did get five kinds of fudge, though.  I can take a picture of them when I get home.

The doctor's office called yesterday. He is not worried about any of the numbers except the LOW platelet count.

So I will redo the labs on 11/28.
